Elsternwick Amateur FC AGM
Thanks to all that attended the Elsternwick Amateur FC AGM on October 2nd at the Caulfield RSL. We want to thank the departing 2024 Committee Members Vice-President Steph Convery, Neesa Neilson and Robbie Jacobson for all their hard work through 2024 and the previous years. We want to welcome Scott Ramsay, Louise Ferriggi, Darcy Roberts, Cam Campbell, Sam Kirkham & Brad Lanesman to the Wicks Committee for 2025.
Team Of The Year Selections!
Congratulations to the 6 Wickers who were chosen in the 2024 Team of the Year.
Nikki Berto & Brianna Lane made the 2024 Division 4 Women's Team of the Year.
Peter Higginbotham was awarded coach of the year for the 3rd time in the last 4 years, finishing off his Elsternwick career in style. Hugo was joined by Spencer Hankin (2nd time), Paul Sanderson (1st time) and finally Matt Harvey (4th time) being awarded Captain of the 2024 Division 2 Men's Team of the Year.
Wicks Golf Day at (Royal) Malvern Valley
October 26th was the 2024 Wicks Golf Day at Malvern Valley Golf Club with 34 players taking the field for the event. Barring a very slow first 3 holes thanks to some members of the public the day turned out to be a fantastic event!
Congratulations to Scott Ramsay for taking the day out with a net stableford score of 42 points. Scott was accompanied in the top 4 by Ben Young (39 pts), Sam Kirkham (38 pts) and Jakob Wiley & Tyler Ramsay (37 pts). Well done to Thomas Malan who took the day out scoring a gross score of 29 points.
